The ICM518 is a UL listed whole home surge protective device for 240 VAC split-phase configurations designed to protect a dwellings most valuable assets. It can be installed as a type 1 (whole home) or a type 2 surge protective device. Type 1 applications include installations before a service entrance or utility meter. Type 2 applications include installations after service entrances protecting particular equipment. The ICM518 has a NEMA type 4X waterproof rated enclosure that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
