They can be used for primary heating in moderate climates and as supplemental heating in colder climates. 230 V Models have backup electric heat that will activate when outside temperatures are too cold for efficient heat pump operation. Introducing optional FreshAire® MERV 13 filters for your Kuhl® AC. The only room AC capable of MERV 13 filtration to guard against the spread of infectious airborne particles. All Kuhl® units are designed with dual filtration technology to fill your home with cleaner indoor air. A washable air filter and carbon filter come standard. A check filter reminder also will help you maintain that fresh clean air feel.
